SIP SIMPLE presence
MSP provides a SIP Presence agent, which is standard enabled beginning with OpenSER version 1.3. The Presence policy is managed by an OpenXCAP server setup on cdr machine.
 
Presence requires SIP clients that support the PUBLISH method and XCAP storage for managing the presence policy. The SIP user agents must be configured to use Presence in Agent mode and use XCAP root configured in the XCAP server.
 
The XCAP root URL is configured at cdr:/etc/openxcap/config.ini

Notes:
  1. SIP SIMPLE presence is available as an upgrade option for existing MSP customers.
  2. End to end presence using SUBSCRIBE directly between SIP UAs is not available (the platform cannot be set as both a Presence agent and to allow end to end presence between devices at the same time).
